About Me

Currently based in Scotland’s Studio (scotlandstudio.com), Sam McErlean is the Assistant Sound Engineer at the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) with experience recording and mixing music from multiple genres in both studio and live environments with a particular focus on orchestral music.

Usually found in the studio working on the production of classical music recordings and soundtrack recordings for film, television and video games, he can also be found on location producing high quality recordings from concert halls all around the country and working alongside other departments in the RSNO to produce audio for videos used in advertising, outreach programs and external clients of the orchestra requiring production sound mixing, ADR and Foley.
